You’ll know when you read it.

This one is for a specific group of people out there — the dreamers, the wanters, the lovers of squishy cheeks, and forever hopefuls. To these people I say, keep believing. And perhaps more importantly than this unwavering, often white-knuckling belief is to keep letting your life bloom along the way. Keep noticing the beautiful things happening around you. Life has a funny way of working out and it is all by divine design… as much as we hate to hear it sometimes. It’s only when we look back can we see that, ah, yep. That’s why that happened that way. The lessons learned from here-to-there are crucial, even when they try to break us. But you know… Life is wavy and today’s topic is quite literally the Wavy Days I was referring to all that time. Yep, that’s where all of this stemmed from, even way back & before the branding. It’s time to share in my own abstracted way, out of solitude and love.

So this one is for you — artists, moms, parents, hopefuls. I see you. And I love you.
This is a piece of my story and I’m finally ready to share.

Throughout my career, I’ve painted for a several reasons, mainly being to heal. How boring, how vague, how expected from an artist, right? I know, I know. But the need to paint for release/expression is very real. At the beginning of my career, the creative driver was to move through adolescent emotions, things I never really dealt with growing up, girl things, etc. This feels pretty standard for an artist if you ask me. Art is healing, therefore we paint! Yadda yadda yadda. But over the last few years specifically, I was painting to cope for a very different reason:
